Ice Cream & personality
“Ice cream is happiness condensed”
After your surgical treatment, whether it is dental implants, wisdom teeth removal (third molar surgery) or corrective jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery), your oral and maxillofacial surgeon has or will recommend that you have a light diet, a diet of soft foods such as yogurt, soup, Jell-O and ice cream. You will be on such nutritive diet for a few days so try to vary and make it more interesting!
What does your favorite ice cream flavor say about you?
Recently in the news, Baskin-Robbins and Dr. Alan Hirsh, founder of Smell & Taste Treatment and Research Foundation teamed up to investigate the secret psychological profiles behind their customer’s favorite flavors. According to this new study, a person’s favorite ice cream flavor seems to reveal one’s personality. For instance, it was found that that people who enjoy chocolate chip tend to be go-getters who are generous and proficient. (see image). We thought it would be fun & informative to share this study’s results with you.
Our favorite flavor? Praline ‘n Cream! A flavor well reflecting our caring and supportive approach to our patients, team, colleagues and the people around us. But what is your favorite ice cream flavor, your scoop of personality?
To all of our patients in their recovery phases, feel free to indulge in a scoop or two and we hope that you will get well soon.
